I can not afford to go abroad to continue my career.?
I'm from Malta, just 15yrs of age. i used to drive the cars at the age of 12-14. was twice champion of my age i. I can not asfford to pay the private school and purchase of karts. How I can get sponsors to focus on international me? they only go for exploration in large countries like England, Italy, etc. .. in Malta we have a lot of professional car racing, but nobody warned us .. back to the point ..... pls help, what I can do?
The scouts go to larger venues, because you have to reach a certain level of competence and competition for these races. You and your parents have to find ways for you to compete in the largest and most prestigious competitions if that is what you want done. Talk your parents about what we do with this. You will have to be truly adult in their approach with them, to have detailed information on career opportunities sponsorship funding that could be available to you if you progress to higher levels of competition, etc, and be persuasive. No whining. There is no anxiety "adolescent." Intelligent, rational discussion of their future opportunities, costs and benefits, their personal safety (mom cares more than you think!), Etc. Make an offer (the you can do to help with expenses) and reached an agreement ("if I can get to three high-level competitions and I win / place / show in at least one, then we will follow, and if I can cut into that level of competition for all their support and encouragement + My work genuine, then quit, get a job and pay back $ X in the coming months and ").

Will these grades be good enough to get me into university of miami?
I went down for a visit last week and I loved it. Right now, I am pretty sure that's where I want to go, uf being my other choice. I am a junior right now.
I figured it out and worst case scenario with my grades I would end this semester with a 4.15 weighted and a 3.6 unweighted. Now, assuming I can pull around a 1360 on my sat and a 31 on my act, would this be good enough to get me in?
Also, here is a list of my extracurriculars:
Treasurer or Young Republicans
NHS
Member of Interact Service Club
Golf Team
Lifeguard/Shift Supervisor at YMCA
200+ hours of volunteering at a hospital
Eagle Scout
Yeoman of Sea Scout troop (for those who don't know what this is, its leadership position for a sailing boy scout troop. We work with the coast guard and stuff)
Anyways, please answer and thank you
btw its treasurer OF young republicans
my bad
I think with that GPA, and a 1360 SAT you're in. If you have a good recommendation, I could see you getting a decent scholarship, especially with the good extracurriculars you have.
For comparison, I got in w/ a $16k/year scholarship with a 1340/1980, 3.8 (at a really good highschool), good essay, great extracurriculars and great recommendations.
Good luck, hope to see you here next year. Go Canes!

Freedom of association?
Freedom of association http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution Main article: Freedom of association # U.S. Constitution Although not expressly protected by the First Amendment, the Supreme Court ruled in NAACP v. Alabama, 357 U.S. 449 (1958), freedom of association to be a fundamental right protected by it. In Boy scouts of america v. Dale, 530 U.S. 640 (2000), the Supreme Court ruled that New Jersey law, forcing the Boy Scouts of America to admit an openly gay member, to be unconstitutional a compendium of the Boy Scouts right to free association. fundamental rights? Can someone please explain how this works in accordance with the text of the Constitution?
The Supreme Court has consistently interpreted the protection of First Amendment "freedom of speech or press" in a comprehensive manner, to say that "the speech applies not only to the spoken word but to all forms of communication. One of the first freedom "of expression" cases that they had heard to do with a political poster. Many of the authors were still alive when the Court ruled that a poster advocating a particular candidate for office was the "voice" as provided in the 1 - and none of those who had written * * disputed that the 1. This broad interpretation of freedom of expression within the meaning of freedom of expression * * logically extends to freedom of association. If I choose to express my views to join a political or religious group, I am entitled to do so, and we have a right to limit participation in our group to those who share our views. Recall that Berkeley sea scouts ordered the vessel to remove the Berkeley Marina, unless allowed a gay man to serve as a Scoutmaster. The Supreme Court ruled that while the Scouts could not be "forced" to accept a gay scoutmaster, the city could deny the use of city facilities if elected. Once again .. Scouts had the right to limit membership to those who shared their views, but the city had the right to do business with the groups did not agree with. Indeed, while Berkeley's case drew widespread national press, it is interesting that the national press gave little space to another case a year later - in the event that the gay leader who agreed to appoint was sentenced to six years in prison for sexually abusing Scouts under his leadership. Should the Boy Scouts of America and other noncommercial associations have a right to discriminate when selecting their members?Does the state have a legitimate interest in regulating the membership practices of private associations? These questions-- raised by Boy Scouts of America v. Dale, in which the Supreme Court ruled that the Scouts had a right to expel gay members-- are at the core of this...

"Playing the Game" marks these two key anniversaries and the year-long international celebration of scouting. Drawing on Baden-Powell's extensive archive, it is a rich and evocative selection of his writings, on peace - a major theme throughout his career and the theme of the centenary c...
I have my book made Eagle Scout, but my scoutmaster told me that is just put in it before converting in the Council folder over. What else is talking? Do I have to write about the history of the place I'm doing in my project, things that nature? What did you have any of the scouts eagle put to add to your workbooks? Thanks for the help
First -- Be sure to complete the Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project Workbook (link: http://www.troop361.org/downloads.htm) completely. Then, in a folder with page protectors clear (from behind), include the following: Eagle application (now 2008 Second Edition - also available in the same link above). A statement of your goals and ambitions (2-3 paragraphs). Description of your Eagle Scout Service Project (one page). Your Blue Badge credit cards (in baseball owners the card). Copy of your star Harnessing Life and Scout book pages. His book Eagle service projects. Add extra white sleeves for letters of recognition. Number each page. Label each section. Double space. Remember - lead, demonstrate and directly. Pictures label. Suppose the reader is not a Boy Scout.
