"I can get some advice on the formation of a successful Cub Scout and Boy Scout units?

I'm in the process of restoring a package of troops and has been on hold for about 2 years.I may be willing to sponsor a church but I have some questions, the first I can give any advice or I go to a website help me with a successful presentation to use when I meet with this committee, I can not sell water to a thirsty. Second: it is easier to start a package or a band? Third: What I can do to make it open successfully? Fourth what should be the first few meeting be? and finally there is a package closely and has been around for years, in a round a few years ago, this package (and still does) is a member of your package outside greeting the people when they come in, they give out baseball cards or other small toys to the boys that have a large poster with pictures of everything that I can compete with that do.How> well have said just give her a troop Webelos only a few, HELP!

The Boy Scouts and books offer advice on setting up new units including step by step outline of the first meetings. However, my advice would be to find a partner or three having children. Doing something in each den-discuss uniform, talking about where / when the meetings are given, then do something the book, a quick, hands, and interesting. I would make a scarf slide. Is there more girl scouts out there?

I am 14 and am still of the Girl Scouts. But I hate when people think that all Girl Scouts do is sing and sell cookies? Do not you hate all the stupid stereotypes that people have against the Girl Scouts? Girl Scouts has given me the opportunity to travel worldwide. So why do people have to ridicule both!? Why do people always assumed that the Girl Scouts are ugly??? I know a lot of people who are or have been Scouts older girl who came to get all the prizes. Some of them even won beauty contest! Why people believe stereotypes?! that do not go around selling cookies or singing songs! All that crap is for girls. And not only support mothers. Where'd you get that idea? I am 16 years old and have been one of the Girl Scouts since he was 5. Yes, stereotypes are ridiculous. People just ridiculous as much as anything else. I've met people who have your browser status a secret, because of it. It is necessary to take all the pent up anger by these stereotypes and stand up and be proud that its still one of the Girl Scouts! If someone is confronted with these stereotypes should try to convince them otherwise. Showing people who believe in our organization and the opportunities given to countless girls! (However, I'm not sure what their troops have been doing if not selling cookies or sing songs. One of my best experiences was working at Girl Scout camps, teaching the songs to the younger girls? I do not think selling cookies and singing is for girls!)
