I can not imagine it costs a lot to maintain a troop of Girl Scouts going. I remember the boy scout and never had to sell anything. I can not help thinking that someone is doing side by side. How bakers bring? Why why not just sell cookies in the grocery store? Is it important for the Girl Scouts to learn capitalism at an early age?

What are the greatest needs in the community? (Worldwide, USA, California or Bay Area)?
I am a high school student and I'm doing a Girl Scout Gold Award (a major independent service project).
