Need information about Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts?
I am a new Girl Scout leader and I have a group (not just one level). This is first of the Girl Scouts of troops in this city EVER. We are in the midst of our sales of biscuits, but still not have the funds ... at least until March. The community in which vivo is poor to say the least, so it can not will not ask for contributions (some can not pay the registration fee of $ 10). So I'm trying to find all the information you can before resorting to the council and ask them to help set up library books troop leader, books, plates, books, hand etc. Does anyone know of a site or have information about all the different awards, badges, try-its ().... Thanks for all the help brownies!
I just started to work for a council, and has been a long time girl / leader. Not sure if the advice around can help with funds that are already beyond their juristiction, but most know they have some assistance for people with financial needs for registration. In addition to the resources listed by the previous poster, consult your local library. Most have the book handy, and possibly can borrow and copy some of the pages more useful. Besides, I know our advice (which is the 28th largest in the U.S.) has a resource library at the headquarters for the leaders to check out the manuals and other resources. As important as badges and awards are to be creative in their thoughts for the activities. Not all girls nessicary have a book - you can provide the resources for them! Some ideas are checking with local bussiness to see if they do tours of their facilities. I remember my daughters loved to travel Taco Bell and a Sony factory. Very open and give them a good time. Another idea is to have community representatives to talk to girls. Hospitals, libraries, police / fire are great resources for their meetings. Good luck!

March Madness, the best time of year. I already went to a few games here in Miami (v Arizona, Utah, San Cle v Wake Syracuse v Arizona St, San Cle v Arizona) and is so exciting.
