Why don't boyscouts wear their uniforms anymore?
Last weekend I went down to Cronin's Landing in Waltham to watch the annual boy scout fishing derby. Only the scoutmaster and one solitary scout was wearing his uniform. When I was a kid I remember being proud to show off all my merit badges, patches, etc. What happened in the intervening 40 years?
the kids nowadays think its too nerdy and embarassing wearing the uniform, back in the day they were proud, now they arent these days
