Head Monster 88

Head Monster 88 is an Alpine Ski. It has the ability to stick on hardpack, plow through crud, and provide the a very smooth ride.

Copper fibers placed in front of the binding are designed to absorb vibrations—and also make the ski more torsionally stiff. A silver spruce wood core surrounded by a sheet of metal alloy provided a soft, smooth flex.

Credit the Monster’s Liquidmetal technology for all that maneuverability and snap: A mix of three or more metals, when cooled the alloy has more than twice the strength of titanium.

The Monster is neither the lightest nor, at 88 mm underfoot, the fattest ski but you won’t sink in powder, and you’ll appreciate its heft when blasting through crud.

Travel to Australia

Australia is a great country with awesome landscapes, beauty of the tropical north and its rainforests, its longest and emptiest beaches in the world. You can cruise the Murray River, or snorkel off the Great Barrier Reef. And we shouldn’t forget cosmopolitan cites with their modern culture and architecture and ancient Aboriginal sites and the indigenous art of Australia’s native people.

The climatic conditions varies in country. Spring begins in September, summer in December, autumn in March and winter in June in Southern Hemisphere while above the Tropic of Capricorn the average temperature ranges from 23-26C. Rain in these areas tends to fall in the summer months. In the south it’s more temperate with many sunny days in winter but generally cooler temperatures.

Australia is extremely fortunate to have such a wide range of Island Resorts, most of which are found within the state of Queensland. From the never ending beaches of Southern Queensland to the exquisite beauty of The Whitsundays to the lush Tropical Queensland, each resort contains its own individual mystique and personality.

The Great Barrier Reef is one of the world’s greatest wonders. It is located just 50kms from Cairns and is the world’s largest reef system, with 2,500 separate reefs stretching nearly 2,000 kms from Queensland to Papua New Guinea. Its is also the world’s most diverse marine ecosystem, with nearly 5,000 different types of coral and teeming with colourful fish, mollusc, starfish and urchin.

Australia is a vast country in which transport is paramount in enabling you to travel to the parts you which to visit.

The foods and meals are great in Australia. The variety of cuisine could not be better with influences from the Mediterranean and South East Asia offering a diverse range of restaurants that cater for all tastes and budgets.

Please note that a valid passport or similar acceptable travel document is required of all people wishing to travel to and enter Australia. Vaccinations are not required unless you have come from, or visited a yellow fever infected country or zone within six days before arrival.
