Could you put in a rock concert for my Girl Scout Gold Award?
Okay so now I'm working on my Silver Award, but im trying to plan ahead for gold, because I'm running to get this done in time. But anyway I was thinking that I possibly could hold a concert for my gold medal. My idea is that I could have people pay to go to the concert and all the money raised would go to charity. I have some questions though. 1.) Where can hold this concert? 2.) Do I need a noise permit? 3.) Do people not even want to go to something like this? 4.) Girl Scouts lawyer would even take a project like this? 5.) How can I ensure that my plan does not fail? I think that's all I need to know. I mean I bands is easy I know that many people in the gangs that have preformed on stage before so there would be no problem, but if you have any suggestions it would be great!
Unfortunately, that will not fly as a GS project - which is an official policy that GS can not raise money for another organization in its role as Girl Scouts. So there is no project to raise money for a charity will always be approved. Now, you can use the idea of concerts as a starting point if that is your passion - Maybe working with schools without a music program to develop one or work for a school to create a battle of the bands that also includes instruments used to donate to a music program in progress, so just a few ways to get you thinking about projects to be approved.

What are some concrete things that you should see in New York?
I'm going to New York during spring break with my Girl Scout troop. We have a general idea of what you want to go, but if any of you have any idea about some things we have to see, please let me know. What is the best way to request a donation of part of a local store?
We would like a local grocery store to donate one pounds generic coffee for a local Girl Scout funraiser. (His drinking, not for resale or anything) What is the best way to ask this?
